Homeopathy, from the words similar and pathos, is a system of holistic – alternative medicine, formulated by Samuel Hahnemann in 1796, based on the theory “like is cured by like” (similia similibus curantur).
Homeopathy can provide help in acute and chronic diseases, covering a very wide range of human pathology. In homeopathic treatment each disease is treated as a completely separate case. There are no diseases but patients.
