Homeopathy, from the words similar and pathos, is a system of holistic – alternative medicine, formulated by Samuel Hahnemann in 1796, based on the theory “like is cured by like” (similia similibus curantur).

Homeopathy can provide help in acute and chronic diseases, covering a very wide range of human pathology. In homeopathic treatment each disease is treated as a completely separate case. There are no diseases but patients.

Training Objectives:

  • Study of the Organon of Homeopathic Art ‘’Organon of Medicine, Samuel Hahnemann’’.
  • Introduction to Homeopathic pharmacology ‘’Materia Medica’’.
  • Hahnemann’s Miasms – Analysis and prescription.
  • Overview of the top 50 – 60 homeopaths that are used more often.
  • Epidemics and homeopathic medicines.
  • Techniques of taking homeopathic history.
  • Choosing the right treatment.
  • Frequency of treatment.
  • First aid in Homeopathy – Common analysis & prescription of common Diseases.
  • Practical practice of Homeopathy.

2nd YEAR (300 HOURS)

  • Analysis of Homeopathic pharmacology ‘’Materia Medica’’.
  • Deepening in techniques of taking Homeopathic History.
  • Temperamental Homeopathy.
  • Prescribing idiosyncratic Homeopathy.
  • Presentation of incidents and analysis (case studies).
  • Homeopathy for common ailments.
  • Learning the homeopathic Index ‘’Repertory’.
  • Homeopathy from Theory to Practice.
  • Practice in taking histories and prescribing.
  • Analysis and management of special incidents (case studies).
  • Homeopathic medicine – Understanding the action of Potentiation.
  • Understanding the dual action of drugs – the primary and the secondary adverse action.
  • Presentation of a personal Homeopathic pharmacy.
  • The Homeopath as an Archaeologist (Dr. Sankaran) – illusions – fallacies   and mental states.
